![]() If your glasses are too tight, true, they’ll stay on your face, but you’re going to be miserable wearing them all day. I think we can all agree that this could be an issue for performance. If you have too loose of a fit, you’re going to have issues with the glasses moving during the swing. Like I said in the Comfort section, you want to make sure the Revo Raconteur fits your noggin well. Over the ball, I didn’t experience any “depth-perception issues” and found green reading to be fine. The Raconteur has a great lens that makes the landscape in front of you vivid and crisp. I for one like them if the lenses are high quality. Some people swear by polarized lenses on the course, while others really dislike them for golf. As mentioned before, the Revo Raconteur has polarized lenses so that is likely the first major factor to consider. I find performance typically comes down to perspective through the lenses and fit of the sunglasses. It’s sort of tough to assess “on-course performance” for sunglasses because everyone sees the world (pun very much intended) so differently. If you are in this group, I’d recommend contacting Revo for strong alternative suggestions. ![]() I point this out from a comfort perspective because I know some people are sensitive to polarized lenses. Keep in mind that the Raconteur lenses are polarized. That may seem like an odd comment to make, but if you’ve had bad lenses in a pair of sunglasses before, you know what I mean. The Raconteur’s lenses were easy on the eyes over long periods of time. Being a sturdy frame, the Revo Raconteur does have a bit of weight to it, but it’s hardly going to make an impact to your comfort. First and foremost, the Raconteur frame is well balanced and sturdy. Rest assured, they know how to make a comfortable pair of sunglasses. Revo‘s been in the sunglasses game for quite some time. Frames are available in chrome, gold, and gunmetal. Obviously personal preference plays a large role here, but Revo highly recommended either the Green Water Serilium or the Graphite Serilium for golf use. If that doesn’t make sense to you, I’d classify the Raconteur as a medium-sized aviator frame.įrom a lens perspective, the Raconteur is available in Graphite Serilium, Green Water Serilium (pictured), and Blue Water Serilium. For those of you that are sunglasses experts, the Raconteur measurements are 58-16-140. There’s nothing worse than a pair of too small or way too big aviators. My personal advice – it’s worth making sure they’re the right size for your face and head. ![]() Like any good aviator, the Raconteur has a classic look but still always feels contemporary. I’ll apologize in advance for the lack of “on-face” photos of the Revo Raconteur sunglasses, but I didn’t want to break any of your screens. With a frame available in three colors, and three different lens options, the Revo Raconteur is a quality on and off-course option for those that want a functional and more stylish pair of glasses. Enter the Revo Raconteur aviator sunglasses. Though people want to have a more fashionable look on the golf course, they still want their sunglasses to be functional and comfortable for their entire round.
